This image represents some of the abundance one can expect from one's gardening efforts. The taste of these veggies cannot be compared to what you may find in your mega-grocery produce shelves and is the main reason I spend some of my time growing vegetables organically. This is an example of my garden harvest during October this year - 2008. The last thing I planted in my garden this year was garlic --around the first of November. I'll be enjoying the butternut squash on Thanksgiving and into the winter.
