This is how I plant green pepper seedlings. I'm growing 'California Wonder' bell peppers again this year because I have had such good success with them in previous years. They love the heat and the black plastic sheeting provides it. Drip irrigation is installed underneath the plastic to provide optimal growth as the growing season progresses. Drip irrigation is a wonderful thing.
