I composed this image in the late fall of 2005. It shows the work in progress of the local beavers over by the pedestrian bridge overlooking the new commercial development on Main Street. My guess is the beavers want to make the tree fall to the right as soon as they finish undercutting the upper knotch. The tree was a white oak.
