Williams Lake, British Columbia, Canada. The sign marks the beginning of a 320 mile gravel road, Route 20, from Williams Lake, BC to Bella Coola, BC. As far as I know, the road remains closed to automobile and truck traffic during the winter season. I travelled this road at the end of April, 1974. I have never seen a more beautiful place on Earth since.
