Steve: When Rob and Phil and I first arrived in Bella Coola we stopped in this place for coffee. We used to drink a lot of coffee back in those days sometimes by the gallon because of the "free refills" we had grown accustomed to at various eating establishments, truck stops and diners in beautiful Wawa, Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. One could almost survive on coffee and cigarettes. Not in this place! They charged us for each and every cup and that was somewhat of a bummer. I seem to remember the restaurant was owned by Greeks and the sign on the window said Chinese Smorgasbord which I never thought possible, but there it was.
